Own one of the finest Aston Martin DB9’s available on the market. The condition of this fine automobile speaks to its owners’ pride for the last 12+ years.
This car has lived much of its life in southern California and obviously cherished and carefully managed. Although we don’t possess all its service records, we have gone through this car front to rear with our master mechanics to be sure everything has been carefully looked at and addressed.
The significant issue we found was a leak in the transmission cooling line (a common issue for which Aston Martin issued a service bulletin) which resulted in a leak. The leak was repaired, but the damage to the transmission was already caused.
The resulting challenge required us to completely rebuild the transmission by an Aston Martin recommended transmission specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. The bright side of the repair is the 1-year unlimited mileage warranty that comes with the car and the peace of mind knowing the issue was properly handled. While these transmissions are excellent and rarely if ever have issues, they are sensitive to having proper oil levels as one expects. The technician went through every aspect of the transmission and left nothing unattended.
Of course, we will supply the receipt with the warranty to be passed to the new owner and feel free to talk with the technician prior to purchase if you like. While this was a rather costly repair, the condition of this Aston justified its repair. We are confident this car will continue to provide the new owner with years and years of reliable service as these cars are known for.
Exterior Condition
Beautiful high-gloss Black Metallic finish with consistent paint meter readings virtually flawless
3M Clear protective film over front facia including partial hood, mirrors, and side skirting since new. (We recommend getting new material applied as older material is lifting on a few edges)
Front bumper cover has minimal side scratches and under scuffing and can be refinished to perfection if desired
No dents or issues with rear bumper facia
Chrome and Bright work are shiny and in excellent condition
All body panels are original and aligned as such
One very minor repaired item on driver side rocker noted on 3
rd
party inspection report which can be provided for your consideration
Brand New Convertible Top with Exact German soft material from factory including new heated glass and rubber moldings
Original Xenon headlamps w/Power wash, lenes are excellent
No cracks or openings in/on original taillamps
Door edges are without blemish
Windshield has one repaired star
Wheels are original 19” bright finish without curb scrub, and 2 have very slight peel on outer edge hardly visible in photos
Aston Martin Logos are perfect
Brand New Continental Extreme Sport+ Tires with 2020 -21 date codes with less than 50 miles
Interior Condition
Beautiful Kestrel Tan Leather in virtually perfect condition, zero shrinkage, soft and supple
Convertible top interior as new without wind noise or leaks
Leather dash and rear deck are excellent
No smoke or odors
Carpeting is without stains or wear
Trunk interior is like new, missing umbrella
Gage cluster functions perfectly with excellent lenses
All controls function properly
Walnut finishes are in excellent condition without warping or cracks
All lighting function as new
Factory Sound System original with clear sound and functions
Navigation System in working order
Steering wheel, Shifting Paddles, and Arm Rest Leather Excellent
Seats, Door Entry sills and Handbrake are like new including moldings
Glove Box compartment excellent
